Employment Programs & Scholarships

The purpose of this form is to collect information which can be used to help our community members gain employment after graduation and to provide meaningful work experience in their related field of study though cooperation and collaboration with industries and government departments.

 

For recent post-secondary graduates (within the last 12 months), you can access the Graduate to Opportunities (GTO) program offered through the Government of Nova Scotia and the Mi’kmaw Economic Benefits Office. The GTO program helps build a stronger workforce and to retain young people in NS with a salary incentive that makes it easier to hire recent graduates. For post-secondary students currently enrolled and returning to full time studies that are looking for meaningful summer work experience related to their field of study, the Student Summer Skill Incentive (SKILL) may be the right program for you.
